Dapping

Alloy steel cube with eighteen polished depressions on all six sides. Useful to dome metal sheet or strips into various forms. The 2” cube has its largest hemisphere at 1 3/8” and the 2 ½” cube has a maximum hemisphere at 1 ¾” .

The larger has 27 hemispheres : 1.5, 2, 2.4, 2.8, 3.2, 3.6, 4.4, 4.8, 5.6, 6.4, 7.1, 7.9, 8.7, 9.5, 10.7, 11.1, 12.7, 14.3, 15.5, 15.9, 17.1, 17.5, 19.1, 20.6, 22.2, 23.8 and 25.4mm. (1/8” – 1”)
