RATNA GIM-X GEM MICROSCOPE
Stereo zoom binocular microscope (zoom ratio 1:4) with multi-layer coated precision optics to ensure excellent image quality, high resolution, good depth of focus and wide field of view (22.5 mm at 10x). Stepless magnification 10x to 80x (with 10x & 20 wide-field eyepieces) – The image remains precisely in focus over the entire zoom range. Magnification can be further increased to 160x by use of optional doubler lens.
Digital camera attachment ( optional ) which enables photography through the scope conveniently. Pre-focussed 12v 30w halogen lamp coupled with darkfield adapter/iris diaphragm help to determine if the gem is natural or synthetic.
Standard accs : 20x eyepieces, fibra optic guide, magnetic gem holder, Spare lamp, rollaway carry bag.
RATNA IMMERSIONSCOPE GIM-Z WITH STEREO ZOOM MICROSCOPE
The gem under study is held in an immersion cell containing a special liquid and observed through the
stereo binocular microscope (same specification as RATNA XTL-II microscope head). The microscope is focused horizontally on the gemstone by conveniently located controls. The halogen illumination system with iris diaphagm and diffusor is mounted on a moving arm. It enables the gemologist to vary the beam wide and angle of incidence and observe the characteristics of the gemstone held in the liquid.
RATNA XTL-II GEM MICROSCOPE
Stereo zoom microscope with new optical design and 10x widefield eyepieces provides stepless magnification from 10x to 40x. Specially coated optics provide good resolution, higher contrast, better color saturation, depth of focus and wide field of view (22.5mm at 10x) – all features so essntial in gemology. Eyepieces are individually ficused and IPD from 55 to 75mm easily adjusted. New design of dark field adapter with iris diaphragm and halogen illumination.
Optional circular fluorescent light is an aid for grading diamond/colored stones.

SATIN FINISH BUFFS
Graded abrasive finely dispersed into the fiber webs; these buffs generate a satin finish of different intensities depending on individual choice of textures. Reinforced leather centers allow direct mounting on tapered spindles.
